DESCRIPTION:haddesley Corbett Local History Society \n  \nWednesday March 19th  – 7.30pm   \nRobert Hodge \nBessie Blount of Kinlet \n  \n  \nAre you interested in family history? \nWell research for Elizabeth Blount has been carried out by our highly respect speaker ready for you to enjoy with the History Society.  Blount was the mother of Henry VIII’s only acknowledged illegitimate child\, and a male one at that. Imagine if her son had been named successor or indeed if Henry VIII had married this little-known mistress from Kinlet; the small village on the northern edge of the Wyre Forest\, just within Shropshire.
