Fancy being a Parish Tree Warden?
Fancy being a Parish Tree Warden?
Tree Wardens are local tree champions who plant, look after and stand up for the trees in their patch. Whether you want to get your hands in the earth and plant trees, raise awareness about trees in your local community, or simply be the eyes, ears and voice for the trees down your street or in your parish, then you may have what it takes to be a Tree Warden. The Tree Warden scheme has been run by The Tree Council since 1990 and is supported locally by Worcestershire County Council’s countryside service. It is a voluntary role and further details are available on the Tree Council’s web site on the Tree Warden page. Trees and their value to our communities and landscapes have never been more vital so if you fancy getting involved for an informal chat call Wade Muggleton, The Worcestershire T W co-ordinator on 01905 844 946 or email
