By Max Keen

Prince Rupert, a nephew to Charles 1st of England and was involved heavily with the Civil War. Having been
banished from England what did his life abroad hold, and what influence did he have on the rule of Cromwell
and the subsequent reinstatement of Royalty in the British Isles before his death in London in 1682 ?
Max Keen uses multimedia, costumes and artefacts to illustrate the story and can be controversial to
stimulate debate. Max has a certificate in Higher Education in British Archaeology, is a retired teacher and is
a popular local speaker so get there early to reserve your chair!
