ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF A TEMPORARY 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT ON THE A450 WORCESTER ROAD, CHADDESLEY CORBETT, (“THE HIGHWAY”)
Reason for restriction: Utility works.
Restriction: a 40 mph speed limit.
- The effect of this Notice is that no vehicle shall proceed along that part of A450 Worcester Road at a speed exceeding 40 mph from a point 360 metres north of its junction with U13406 Sandy Lane for a distance of 1100 metres in both directions.
- No speed limit imposed by this Notice applies to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with Regulation 3(5) of those regulations.
- This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 5 days. However, it is anticipated that it will remain force for 1 day commencing on 22 October 2026.
Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.
