(C2082 Fox Lane, Chaddesley Corbett) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2082 Fox Ln from its junction with A448 Kidderminster Rd to its junction with U13610 Dobes Ln.

Reason: Drainage work by WCC

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A448 Kidderminster Rd, A448 Bromgrove Rd, C2014 Curlow Ln, C2082 Cakebole, C2082 Cakebole Ln and vice versa.

No access for emergency vehicles, the diversion route must be maintained.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24 hrs) Commencing: 30 November 2026

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (Wyre Forest District – Chaddesley Corbett area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2026 [Prohibition of Waiting on C2017 The Village/St Cassian’s Way, Chaddesley Corbett]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Chaddesley Corbett: –

C2017 The Village, Chaddesley Corbett (northwest side) – from its junction with St Cassian’s Way for a distance of 6m in a north easterly direction and 6m in a south westerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U13605 Chaddesley Ln, U13601 Bournes Green Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 13 November and 26 November 2026

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 10 November 2026 and 24 November 2026
