(U13610 Dobes Lane, Chaddesley Corbett) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: to close that part of U13610 Dobes Ln from its junction with C2082 Fox Ln for a distance of 200 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Telegraph pole replacement by Openreach

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2082 Fox Ln, A448 Kidderminster Rd, U13610 Dobes Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 1 day Commencing: 6 March 2026

Order made: to close that part of C2082 Cakebole Ln from its junction with U13610 Dobes Ln to its junction with C2082 Cakebole

Reason: New Customer Connection by STW

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2082 Fox Ln, A448 Lodge Ford Hill, C2018 Clattercut Ln, C2082 Lunnon Ln, C2082 Cakebole Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs) Commencing: 9 February 2026

Proposed Order: to close that part of C2082 Cakebole from its junction with C2014 Curslow Ln to its junction with C2082 Cakebole Ln.
Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing inc civils works over multiple phases by WCC

Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2014 Curslow Ln, A448 Bromsgrove Rd, C2082 Fox Ln, C2082 Cakebole Ln and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.  Anticipated duration: 1 day between 19 February 2026 and 4 March 2026

PUBLIC NOTICE

 

            ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(2) (as amended)

 

                                        WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

 

Notice of closure of Footpath CC-632, Chaddesley Corbett

(“the highway”) as an Emergency Measure.

 

 

It appears to Worcestershire County Council that because of the likelihood of danger to the public as a result of a dangerous bridge, there is an urgent need to close the highway immediately in the following terms: –

 

1. The effect of the Notice is that no person shall proceed along Footpath CC-632, Chaddesley Corbett from its junction with Footpaths CC-629 & CC-631 at grid ref: 390540, 274094 to its junction with Footpaths CC-634 & CC-635 (Royal Hunters Walk) grid ref: 390503, 273951.

 

2. This provision shall continue in force for a maximum of 21 days (unless further provision is made for its continuance). It is anticipated that it will remain in force for 21 days.

 

• The alternative route is along Footpaths CC-634, CC-628 & CC-629, and vice versa.

Nothing in this Notice shall prevent at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the highway, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from the highway.
